The color combinations of the Foam Grasshopper are as varied as are real grasshoppers. One must research the predominate colors of the grasshoppers in the area and season fished to be really successful. |

Materials:
Thread: Color to compliment
Hook: Mustad 3366, 79580 or 9172, size 6 - 12
Wing: Gift wrap ribbon (poly or nylon)
Head/Over Wing: 2mm foam
Legs: Color to either compliment or contrast head color |

1. Debarb hook and cover shank with thread of a complimentary color. Tie on tail and wrap shank with body foam. |

2. Add wing made from ribbon. |

4. Fold over head foam, wrap with thread and add legs. Add head cement to secure thread. |
